2. Communication

We want to ensure that communication is clear all the way up until the event takes place. We will institute several check in points that we will require you adhere to. 

1. Initial Invite will take place 2-3 weeks before event takes place

2. Check in point 1: The week of the event

3. Check in Point 2: Friday before the event takes place

4. Check in Point 3: The morning of the event (At Least 2 hours before takes place)

5. Check in Point 4: You’re on your way.

6. Check in Point 5: You have arrived and are onsite.

(Should an unexpected event occur and you’re forced to cancel- please do your very best to secure a back up/replacement as its nearly impossible for us to find a replacement with such short notice)

3. Filming Shot list

1. 30-40 sec Player interview after they check in and get their jersey: (Find a good spot in the gym to shoot this interview) 

2. 2 Questions to answer:

• What does basketball mean to you?

• Who inspires you to play hard? 

1. Capture clips of player doing the following:

2. Warm-ups (15 or more clips)

3. Close shots and medium shots

4. Drills (15 or more clips)

5. Close shots and medium shots

6. Candid Shots (10 or more clips)

7. Close shots and medium shots

8. During Game play: 

9. Shoot from baseline

10. Film when player is playing in the game (DON’T MISS ANY ACTION)

11. Close and medium shots following the ball 

12. If filming multiple players at the same time follow the ball so you don’t miss any of the action 

13. When player does a highlight record a “dead clip” right after 2sec clip with hand over camera.

GOAL:

1. We want enough material to create a highlight tape that includes scoring, rebounds, defense, and assists

2. Get candid shots of the players when you aren’t filming any premium players in the game

4. Delivery of Footage

1. Your footage needs to be delivered to us within 72 hours following the event. 

2. Our preference is that you render the clips together so that each game is one fluid clip. If you’re unable to do this, then we prefer that you at least organize the clips in a folder to indicate which clips go with which game. 

3. If you prefer to mail your sd cards, we will require that you provide us with a tracking number. You will be reimburse for shipping and the sd card will be returned to you after footage retrieval.

4. For Uploading footage- we will share our google suite drive link and you will be required to upload to this platform.

5. Payments

1. Arrival and Departure times: Ensure that you record both your arrival and departure times as this will be how we determine what is due. 

2. A deposit will be sent once confirmed hire before event and remaining balance will be sent once we confirm receipt of all footage has been reviewed by our team after footage has been uploaded. (We prefer that you have a paypal account as it simplifies the process but can also make arrangements through venmo or cashapp)

3. You will be hired as a 1099 contractor. 

4. The pay rate will be based on the event you are shooting for and discussed before hire.

5. The pay rate can be deducted if videographer doesn't perform the task at hand.
